to whom this may concern i posts my old report from last year i didnt pass the unit. by 9 marks as i only explained what leg length discrepancy was but i thought i would put it in so you could get an idea. regards.
Value: 40%Length: 4 pages A4 excluding references, see Canvas site for example, guidelines and template (this must be adhered to).Students will be required to create a report based on the 3D Gait data collected during week 4 and labs. Pre and Post intervention data will be supplied, based on participant or a cohort with a functional leg length discrepancy. Students will be required to compare between Pre and Post data sets for at least four variables. Three of the four variables need to beWalking speed

Cadence
At least one other variable needs to come from the kinematic and kinetic variables supplied. Statistical analysis (T Tests), will need to be used to compare between all variables (shown in week 5 lecture). Temporal points for kinematic and kinetic data will be identified to allow statistical analysis to take place (start or end of phase or the minimum or maximum points).While the data has been collected using a functional leg length discrepancy, the report can be based on any pathology using any cohort (large, small or case study). You will need to provide information about the intervention that occured between the Pre and Post conditions (again, this is up to you).This data will be aggregated across the whole of the labs and made available on Canvas with time dedicated to interpreting it in the lecture during week 5. The purpose of this assessment is to allow students to understand the collection, analysis and synthesis of data from a tool used for biomechanical research into injury and performance enhancement.The report should include the following:Abstract (5%)
An introduction to provide background, context and rational for the study and justification for the methods used. (20%)
Methods – Provide a brief method of how data was collected and the intervention used. Include statistical analyses. (5%)
Results – Appropriate figures and tables that highlight the main findings from the analysis. (15%)
Discussion – That interprets and explains the underpinning theory behind the results, with reference to previous literature. (30%)
Conclusion – Emphasise and summarise key findings and recommends future research (if applicable). (5%)

You will be required to source literature for the project. You will be assessed on your ability to source the literature judged by the research you find. Use literature search engines such as Google Scholar, Pub Med etc. Only peer reviewed research will be considered.You will also be required to undertake statistical analysis of the data so please ensure you have gone over your prior statistical units notes.Please use the Vancouver referencing style only.
